Please find below some Health Tips in Toronto:

1. Eat Your Breakfast!

Many people remain on the go in the mornings and do not take sufficient time to eat a nutritious breakfast. However, breakfast in fact is the most important meal of the day. Manage time by preparing a healthy meal the night before or take some snacks with you such as fruits, yogurt cups or a bagel.

2. Stay Hydrated

Drinking plenty of water is essential to obtaining a healthy functioning body. It is recommended to drink 6 to 8 cups of water every day. Keep a re-usable water bottle with you to ensure that you are staying hydrated.

3. Get Fresh Air

We all often get too caught up with work or school life and forget to take some time to enjoy nature. Going on a 15-minute walk around your neighborhood is a great way to get some fresh air and physical activity simultaneously.

4. Join the Gym!

Getting regular physical activity is essential to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. For adults it is recommended to get approximately 150 minutes (2½ hours) of moderate to vigorous physical activity per week. You can do this by working out at the gym, joining classes or simply going on a jog. Joining classes such as Pilates, Zumba or boxing is a fun and effective way to get your weekly physical activity done.

5. Apply Sunscreen

Direct sunlight can cause serious skin discoloration or skin damage. Using a good sunscreen daily can act a layer to protect the skin and keep it healthy. Look for a sunscreen with a high SPF to ensure full protection.

6. Meditate

Regularly meditating can allow the mind and body to relax and ease out of daily tension. Meditation has been proven to slow aging, increase happiness and improve concentration. You can use guided meditation apps that walk you through the process of easing any stress. Take 10 minutes out of your day to meditate.

7. Drink Cold-Pressed Juices

It can often be hard to eat the correct amount of servings of fruit and vegetables daily, especially for those who are consistently on the go. Thus, cold pressed juices are readily available and can provide you the nutritional value of organic fruits.
